Epic game tonight at U of A

I won’t get too in-depth on how awesome this game should be tonight, but I encourage anyone who’s not in Edmonton to listen online as the Pandas take on SFU in a rematch of last year’s championship final in a game that’s not an over-exaggeration by any means to call epic.

SFU has some monster posts in Edmonton products Kate Hole and Lauren Wiegl, who will cause problems for the Pandas all night. Kristin Jarock, Trish Ariss, and Michelle Anderson will have to step up if they want to have a shot at exacting some revenge for the Clan’s (why would you name your sports team after something that’s synonymous with racism?) four-point win in the final last year.

The Pandas have the backcourt edge with Ashley Wigg running the show and Katie Barrett and Emily Bolduc needing to provide the outside threat that’s been there some nights, not there other nights for the Pandas.

The game is webcast tonight, either on CJSR or the Bears and Pandas homepage.
